Adani Green: Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) said on Wednesday its cash profit in the June quarter rose 35% to ₹460 crore ₹342 crore in the same period of the previous year. Total income increased 23% for ₹1,079 crore in the first quarter of fiscal 22 from ₹878 crore in the first quarter of FY21. Power supply revenue jumped 39% to ₹848 crores ₹609 crores.

SBI Life: The Carlyle Group is selling its remaining 1.9% stake in life insurer SBI Life Insurance Co. Tata Communications’ consolidated revenue declined by approximately 7% for ₹4,103 crore in the quarter reported compared to ₹4,403 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2020-21.

Vodafone idea: The company said on Wednesday that its board had accepted Kumar Mangalam Birla’s request to step down as a non-executive director and non-executive chairman of the board.

Zomato: Foodtech has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, Zomato Payments Pvt. Ltd, to manage payments and technology services. The company was incorporated on August 4, the food delivery aggregator said on a regulatory filing Wednesday.

Trusted industries: The company has announced that it is doubling its PET recycling capacity by setting up a recycled polyester staple fiber (PSF) manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh. This move is part of RIL’s commitment to lead the industry on the circular economy, improve its sustainability quotient and strengthen the entire polyester and polymer value chain.
