Amir sends letter to Algerian president on fraternal ties


ALGIERS: Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah delivers a letter from His Highness Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to Algerian President Abdulmadjid Tebboune. – KUNA

ALGER : His Highness Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah yesterday sent a written letter to Algerian President Abdulmadjid Tebboune on historic fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them. Foreign Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Sheikh Dr Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, delivered the letter as he was greeted by the Algerian President in Algiers earlier yesterday.

During the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed His Highness the Amir’s greetings to the Algerian President, government and people, while the Algerian leader, in turn, asked Sheikh Ahmad Nasser to convey his greetings to His Highness the Amir and to the government and people of Kuwait.

During the meeting, they discussed the firm and deeply rooted historical relations between the two countries and their peoples in all fields, the latest regional and international developments and how to consolidate Arab solidarity in order to meet the expectations of the Arab people, being given that Kuwait holds the current 156th presidency of the Arab League Council at ministerial level for the next six months. – KUNA
